Terms of Service for Great Lock In

By using Great Lock In ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- One account per person only
2. Subscription & Payments
- Pricing: $7.99/month OR $18.99/3 months (prices may change with 30 days notice)
- Billing: Through Apple App Store only
- Renewal: Plan automatically renews at the end of your billing period unless cancelled
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal date
- Refunds: Subject to Apple's refund policy
- Free Features: None - subscription required for all access
3. User Conduct & Account Rules
You agree to:
- Provide accurate habit completion data
- Choose an appropriate username (no offensive, misleading, or impersonating names)
- Not manipulate streaks, points, or leaderboard rankings
- Not create multiple accounts to inflate rankings
- Not share, sell, or transfer your account
- Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Not use automated systems or bots with the App
- Not collect or harvest other users' data
4. Your Data & Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your habit data
- License to Us: You grant us a license to display your username, streak count, and points on public leaderboards
- Aggregated Data: We may use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and service improvement
- Deletion: If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days
5. Intellectual Property
- Great Lock In and all associated logos, designs, and content are our property
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
- You may not use our trademarks without written permission
6. Service Availability & Modifications
- We strive for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- We're not liable for lost streaks due to service outages
- We may update these Terms with 7 days notice for material changes
7. Privacy & Data Security
- Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy
- We implement reasonable security measures
- You're responsible for maintaining your account credentials
- Report any security breaches to support@greatlockin.app immediately
8. Disclaimers & Limitations
- "As Is" Service: The App is provided without warranties of any kind
- Health Disclaimer: The App is not medical advice; consult professionals for health concerns
- No Guarantee: We don't guarantee any specific results from using the App
- Third Party Services: We're not responsible for Apple's App Store or payment processing
- Location Services: Location data (if enabled) is used only for the purposes stated in our Privacy Policy
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last billing period
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We're not liable for loss of data, profits, or streak progress
- Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Great Lock In from any claims arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of any third-party rights
11. Termination
- By You: Cancel subscription anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal
- By Us: We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with notice
- Effect: Upon termination, your access ends immediately
- Data Retention: Your data will be deleted 30 days after termination
12. Dispute Resolution
- Informal Resolution: Contact us first at support@greatlockin.app
- Arbitration: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
- Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to class action lawsuits
- Small Claims: You may bring claims in small claims court
13. General Terms
- Governing Law: New Jersey, USA (without conflict of laws provisions)
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the complete agreement
- Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right isn't a waiver
- Assignment: You can't transfer these Terms; we can

By using Great Lock In, you acknowledge that you've read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
