Everything you need to know about Great Lock In

How much does Great Lock In cost?

Great Lock In costs $7.99 per month OR $18.99 every 3 months (save $5!). No free tier or trial period. We believe in committed users only - if you're paying, you're serious about locking in.

What are the 12 daily habits?

The habits are: Wake Up Early, Meditate, Journal, Exercise, Hydrate, Phoneless Morning/Night, Cold Shower, 10K Steps, Read 10 Pages, 1 Hour of Deep Work, Whole Foods Only, and 8 Hours of Sleep. Everyone tracks the same habits - no customization.

How do streaks work?

Complete at least 6 habits per day to maintain your streak. Less than 6 habits break your streak and you start over.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Great Lock In at least 24 hours before each renewal date. Plan automatically renews until cancelled. You cannot cancel within the app itself.

Is the leaderboard public?

Yes, your username and other information will be visible to all users on the global leaderboard. Choose your username wisely.

Can I change which habits I track?

No. Everyone tracks the same 12 habits. This creates a fair, standardized system for the community leaderboard.

Why does the app need my location?

Location is used to determine your local timezone for accurate daily resets and future weather-based features. We don't track your movements or share location data.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by emailing support@greatlockin.app. This permanently removes your account and all data within 30 days.

Can I pause my streak for vacation?

No, streaks cannot be paused. Part of being locked in is maintaining discipline even during travel or time off.

What if I'm not satisfied with the service?

Refunds are handled through Apple's refund policy. Request through Apple Support, not through us.
